PEER Research acknowledges and respects the diverse histories, languages, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and all First Peoples who lived and continue to live in Amiskwacîwâskahikan (Beaver Hills House, also known as Edmonton). We respectfully acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 6 territory and Métis Region 4, and would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples to whom this is a traditional gathering place, including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway, Saulteaux, Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community.
